New Beta Starting Next Week!

Purpose-Built Evidence Collection UI Beta

Runs from Nov 12 - Dec 8

We know that you have users that only log into ZenGRC a couple of times a year to provide an attachment for audit evidence collection. We want to make the process of uploading evidence as easy as possible for those occasional contributor users.

This beta will give you the opportunity to test our new Purpose-Built Evidence Collection UI, which provides a streamlined interface to make it easier for users who only have the occasional need to submit evidence into ZenGRC.

Specifically, we are testing:

  • Fewer tabs: To reduce the number of clicks necessary to attach evidence and submit comments
  • De-cluttered form: To focus the user's attention on the immediate ask and move contextual information to the background

Qualification Criteria
We're looking for customers that are familiar with the legacy Evidence Request user interface and who are interested in providing feedback on this new experience. Your beta participation starts with a recorded video overview and culminates in a feedback survey and a short call with product manager Daniel de Juan to discuss your responses. To request participation, email [email protected]

USE

Jira Two-Way Comment Sync: Now ZenGRC users can directly reply to comments in Jira from within Zen and have the comment flow through to the Jira issue with the context of the commenter's name and email.

API File Attachment Upload/Download Capabilities: Better support custom-built integrations in which the customer's integrated evidence sources push evidence into ZenGRC on a scheduled basis by attaching evidence file attachments to Request objects in ZenGRC. File attachment upload/download is also available for the Vulnerability object, and support for additional objects is coming soon!

Vulnerability API Capabilities: New API endpoints will provide the ability for you to GET, PUT, POST and DELETE Vulnerability objects, including standard attributes and custom attributes for any vulnerability scanning technology.

API documentation is specific to your instance and you find it by inserting '.api' after the name of your instance in your ZenGRC URL". Example: https://acme.zengrc.com/ -> https://acme.api.zengrc.com/ Also, the documentation allows you to submit sample API requests using the "Try it out" links.
